Anokh Ambadipudi
Anokh has been part of Science is Fun for 3 years now. He has taken courses such as multivariate calculus, linear algebra, AP biology, AP chemistry and AP physics. He is also involved in STEM research and hopes to pursue a career in computational biology and education.
Amitesh Bharati
Amitesh Bharati is currently a junior at Basha High School. He has taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics 1. He is currently taking AP Physics C and AP Computer Science Principles. In addition to Science is Fun, he's also a part of Engineering Club and DevOps Club. In the future, Amitesh wants to go into the computer science research field.
Ahlam Bouhafsi
Ahlam Bouhafsi is currently a senior at Basha High School. She has always had a love for science as she has taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus AB along with other courses. Outside of school she enjoys volunteering and spending time with friends and family. She plans on attending Arizona State University to major in Nursing and Medical Studies.
Chris Boyer
Christopher Boyer is a junior at Basha High school. He is currently enrolled in AP Calc-BC and AP Physics-C and has taken AP Biology, AP Physics-1, and AP Chemistry. He also participates in the Basha High school marching band, indoor percussion ensemble, and varsity jazz band. Past high school he wants to go to a college on the east coast where he plans to study biochemical engineering and statistics.
Casey Catalanotto
Casey is a senior at Basha High School, she enjoys playing golf, seeing friends, and exploring science with her peers! Exploring science with kids is one of her favorite things about Science Is Fun because she can show her love of science to others.
Davina Chen
Davina Chen is a junior at Basha High School and who has taken AP Biology and AP Chemistry, and is currently enrolled in AP Calculus AB, AP Language, AP Psychology, AP Seminar, and AP US History. Besides loving science, she is a big theatre kid and loves performing on stage. Some clubs that she is a part of include: Link Crew, ACE, ITS, NHS, etc. In the future, she hopes to become a dermatologist or an actress.
Taylar Cook
Taylar Cook is a senior at Basha High School currently enrolled in numerous STEM-based AP classes. Her passion for leadership and science drew her to clubs such as Girls X STEM and NHS. As one of the copresidents of Science is Fun, Taylar has a love for not only science, but sharing science with younger generations. She hopes to major in anthropology to combine her love for science with her admiration of history.
Amelia Cunningham
Amelia Cunningham is a junior at Basha High School and is in her first year of Science is Fun. She enjoys participating in school activities including Science is Fun, NHS, and HOSA. She also enjoys playing tennis in her free time as well as for her school team.
Amelia Edwards
Amelia Edwards is a senior at Basha High School. She has taken AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, and AP Physics. In her free time, she likes to read and travel.
Elana Finkel
I'm Elana Finkel. I'm a junior at Basha High. For science classes, I am currently taking biotechnology, Medpro and engineering. I have also taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry and a few previous years of engineering. This is my third year in SiF and I'm really grateful to be sharing my love for science with the world.
Marina Hess
Marina Hess is a junior at Basha High School. They have taken AP Calculus BC, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP Biology. Outside of school, they love writing and gardening. They aspire to become an environmental engineer and want to keep pursuing science in the future.
Aria Hewett
Aria Hewett is currently a junior at Basha High School. She has taken Honors Biology and AP Biology. Although not currently enrolled in a science class, she is taking Medical Professions 1 and is planning to take AP Chemistry next year, with AP Psychology as an alternative. She also participates in and enjoys Academic Decathlon. In the future, she plans to go into the medical field for Acute Care Surgery.
Allyson Huynh
Allyson Huynh is a junior at Basha High School and she loves everything about science. So far, she has learned about biology, chemistry, and physics, and is excited to further her knowledge. Through her studies in AP Research this year, she hopes to help draw conclusions on coral bleaching and ways to limit the effects of global warming. Besides participating in Science is Fun, she is in clubs like ACE, HOSA, and GirlsxSTEM. Outside of school, Allyson loves to read, bake, and hang out with her family

Hello, my name is John Michael. I am intrigued by all aspects of science, specifically the applications and how it helps me understand the real world. I hope to study astrophysics and biochemistry in college.
Jessica Li
Jesse Li is a senior at Basha High School who has taken AP Biology, AP Psychology, AP Physics 1, AP Statistics, and AP Chemistry. She is currently enrolled in AP Physics C and AP Calculus. Outside of Science is Fun, she is involved in other activities like Color Guard and the Asian Cultural Ethics Club. In the future, she plans to continue her passion for science and study neuroscience.
Kevin Li
Kevin Li is a junior at Basha high school who has taken AP biology and AP Chemistry. He is currently enrolled in AP Physics 1 and AP Calculus BC. Outside of school he likes tinkering with computers, hanging out with friends, listening to podcasts, hiking, and taking landscape photography. He plans to major in chemical engineering in college.
Sofia Llanos
This year Sofia Llanos is a junior at Basha High School. She is currently enrolled in AP Calculus BC and has taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Psychology. She is a fluent Spanish speaker and enjoys presenting in her native language for Science is Fun. In her free time, she hangs out with her friends, reads, and swims for the Basha Swim Team. She hopes to become a pediatric neurologist in the future.
Braydon Lundgren
Braydon Lundgren is a senior here at Basha High School and has been in Science is Fun for the past 3 years. He has previously taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics 1, and he is currently enrolled in AP calculus BC. Braydon has been a 4 year varsity athlete in both cross country and track, going to state in both all 4 years. In his free time he enjoys working out and spending time with his friends and family. Braydon hopes to go into the mechanical engineering field with an automotive focus.

Riley Mayes is a senior at Basha High School, and has taken as many science classes as possible. In her free time she plays soccer, volunteers, and helps out as much as possible in Science is Fun! In college she plans to study Biomedical Engineering.
Anistynn Mendez
Anistynn Mendez is currently a senior at Basha High School and has taken AP Chemistry and is currently enrolled in AP Biology, AP Calculus BC and her second year of Biotechnology. Anistynn is an active member of Science is Fun, NHS, HOSA and GirlsXSTEM. When she's not in school or helping these clubs, she enjoys film photography or spending time with friends and family. Beyond high school, she plans on majoring in biochemical engineering in college.
Chris Ong
Chris Ong is a junior at Basha High School who is taking 5 AP classes including: Physics 1, Chemistry, English Language and Composition, Calculus BC, and US History. With these classes, he challenges himself to try harder every day. Despite these challenges, he spends his free time playing video games and relaxing.
Nicholas Pisiak
Nicholas Pisiak is a Senior at Basha High School and has been in Science is Fun for 2 years. He is currently enrolled in Multi V Calc/Diff Eq, AP Chemistry, AP Physics C, and AP English Lit & Comp. Nicholas has plans of becoming a mechanical engineer after obtaining a bachelors from Embry-Riddle.
Thomas Prendergast
Thomas Prendergast is a junior at Basha High School. He is enrolled in AP Chemistry and has completed AP Biology and Honors Chemistry. If there's one thing Thomas likes, it's writing a long winded autobiography paragraph at 10:35pm. Outside of school, he enjoys hanging out with friends and falling behind on sleep. In the future, he intends to study something in the STEM fields, which sounds like a vague idea because it is.
Ethan Tang
Ethan Tang is a senior at Basha High School. He has taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and is currently enrolled in AP Physics C. Outside of school, Ethan enjoys playing chess, reading, running, and listening to music. He hopes to pursue a career in the computer science field.
Tyler Tannenbaum
Tyler Tannenbaum is currently a senior at Basha High School, and has been in the Science is Fun class for 2 years. He has previously taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1, and is currently taking Linear Algebra and AP Computer Science Applications. In the future, Tyler wants to go into the computer science research field.

Allison Tran is a junior at Basha High School. She has taken a variety of AP classes, including AP Chemistry and AP Biology, and is currently taking AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, AP Environmental Science, AP US History, AP Language, and AP Seminar. Besides Science is Fun, she is also involved in clubs like Key Club, Asian Cultural Ethics, and GirlsXSTEM. In the future, she hopes to attend college to become a biochemist.
Loretta Tran
Loretta Tran is currently a senior at Basha High School who has taken multiple honors and AP STEM courses throughout her life. In addition to Science is Fun, she is currently a part of other clubs like FFA, HOSA, and Bring Change to Mind. Outside of school she enjoys volunteering in STEM based clubs, researching and growing plants, and one day hopes to pursue a career in the medical field.
Taylani Tran
Taylani Tran is currently a junior at Basha High School. She enjoys learning about how things in the world function, so by default, science is her top subject in school. She has taken AP Biology, Intro to Engineering, Principles of Engineering, and multiple cyber security courses. Currently, she is taking AB Calculus and AP Physics. Outside of school, she works on earning her black belt, participates on the girls wrestling team and flag football team, is a part of the AFJROTC, and is on the Teen Advisory Board of Arizona Science Center.
Meghana Tripuraneni
Meghana Tripuraneni is a senior at Basha High School. She has previously taken Multivariable Calculus, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics 1, and is currently taking AP Psychology and Med Pro 2. Outside of SIF, she enjoys calligraphy, playing the piano, and volunteering. She plans on majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology and going into the medical field after high school.
Trinity Wood
Trinity Wood is a junior at Basha High School and is currently in her first year of Science is Fun. Trinity is also a Student Athletic Trainer, a manager for the freshman tennis team, a member of Link Crew, and a part of a Student of the Year group for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She loves playing tennis and has been on the team at Basha for 3 years. Trinity plans to attend U of A after graduation and study biology to go pre-med.
Alyssa Yee
Alyssa is a senior in her first year of Science is Fun. Alyssa has taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1, and AP Calculus AB. She is currently taking AP Physics C and AP Calculus BC. Outside of school, Alyssa enjoys reading, playing with her pets, and drawing. In college, she wants to study microbiology in hopes of becoming a researcher.
